Daniel S. Arick, M.D., has been in private medical practice
for over 25 years. He is Board Certified by the American
Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and is a
Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Arick is the author of numerous scientific articles and
holds patents on two medical devices. He was also named a
Clinical Investigator for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
In addition, Dr. Arick is co-inventor of the EarPopper, a
new medical device that is used at home to resolve middle
ear fluid and restore hearing to normal without surgery. A
successful clinical trial of the EarPopper was funded with a
$1-million-dollar grant from the National Institutes of
Health, in which Dr. Arick was named a Principal
Investigator. The EarPopper has the potential to save
hundreds of thousands of children from undergoing ear tube
surgery.
Dr. Arick is on the staffs of Lenox Hill Hospital, the New
York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Long Island College
Hospital, an affiliate of Downstate Medical Center.
